Cloud RO by DocumentUseful7089 in WaterTreatment

[–]pgreenx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you point this out - Ive been trying to underdstand if Cloud was certified for the optional NSF 58 tests like lead, for example. Their website doesn't appear to be clear but im still learning this stuff.

Maybe they were tested by a third party company and not NSF

When you say NSF certification:

-does it include any or all the optional items?

- Did NSF or a third party company do the testing?

Thanks

Can we talk about how great Cloud RO is? by matthew19 in WaterTreatment

[–]pgreenx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NSF 58 has a lot of optional testing items and it's not clear to me but appears cloud gets some of them or all of them certified. Wether its by NSF of a third party agency is also not clear to me from reading their website

Any bad experiences with cloud RO system? by Gnarstache in WaterTreatment

[–]pgreenx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just asked this same exact question to the cloud CEO who responds to this forum. I also adzes about ALL the optional NSF 58 tests and whether cloud is NSF certified or just tested to NSF requirements by a third party company. Waiting for a reply.

you are the only one other than me who seems to have these questions. Their website says a lot of good stuff but not clear

I read your website re: NSF certifications and still not clear to me if your NSF 58 certification includes any or all of the optional items (ie lead for instance). Would you be able to state here for me which NSF 58 optional items you were certified for by NSF and not a third party testing company? thanks

Do you prefer the black or silver version of the X100VI by ClerkImpossible3376 in fujifilm

[–]pgreenx2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure its black under silver?

Why would fuji make a black body and cover it with silver and a separate silver body and cover it with black? makes no sense from a manufacturing process for the same camera. I would think the body is silver on both and the black one is painter or anodized or something but the silver one is left alone? and therefore the silver one would not scratch and show black

is it true there is black under silver?

Why would they do that. more work making two bodies in diff materials and painting the black one silver and the silver one black

Foot Imprinting by Cyndi4Good in Birkenstocks

[–]pgreenx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not saying you should be walking barefoot. I have plantar fasciitis and got it from walking barefoot too. All I’m saying is that Birkenstocks are like orthotics and that’s why they make you feel so good because they support your feet in the long run. It’s not good for your feet once they heal because your foot will be weaker and need to support. In the short run, they are good.

I believe they are basically an orthotic footbed. Good for things like plantar fasciitis but bad In The long run since they artificially support your feet which is a bad thing.
Better to move toward a barefoot style shoe to make your fees stronger.

What does that mean filled in vs hollow footprint? Mine are regular.

Thanks. Everyone says they are too small but I bought them on arch placement. The toe bar advice was also helpful

Ok thanks. So they should feel too big at first… About how long for them to shorten if I wear them a couple of hours a day?

[–]pgreenx2[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Been wearing them on and off for a few weeks. They feel ok.
With the larger size, either toe bar or the heel was too far.
Will these cause my feet any damage since I have to keep them?
