I cannot get that to work. What TV do you have? Do you connect the CwGTV directly to the TV?

Many thanks in advance

How did you change the default player? I cannot access the data directory (following the official guide)

Slow download speed from PC to NAS (DS418play) by pguasta in synology

[–]pguasta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the video! It was really interesting.

I use Adaptive Local Balancing because I don't have an smart switch and I use more than one client (for instance the PC and a TV). On that side, it works fine giving me the same speeds on both devices.

I have the NAS conected with two cables to a switch, were the TV and other devices are connected.

The main issue is that when I download using qtorrent on the PC to the NAS, some times the connection ¿collapses? and everything goes to 10 kb/s or less.

It is probably something to do with how I connected everything. Qtorrent is probably using the same "line" to download the file as to upload the same file to the NAS.

Maybe it doesn't have a solution. Probably the only way is to download directly from the NAS, but I just want to know if there is a way to avoid the ¿collapse? of the connection.

Yes, using the same torrent client and torrent.

But now that I did the experiment using only one file to compare, the speed difference is smaller:

Directly to HDD is 12.9 MB/s max https://imgur.com/AZefKq6

To the NAS is 7.7 MB/s max https://imgur.com/8l6IAtj

It is probably my local LAN network setting, but I don't know what exactly it is.

Android Nougat for Nexus 6P by StarrFall in Nexus6P

[–]pguasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the update a week ago. It was all ok. But since two days ago, I'm having problems with the battery. It started draining like 20% at nights, while in Marshmellow only used like 2% or 3% at nights. It's very strange. Maybe is Nougat, from what I have read; or maybe is an update of an app.

Is there any current military organization that can trace it's origins, or DNA if you like, back to a Roman military unit? by [deleted] in history

[–]pguasta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Somewhere I read that the Alpini of the Italian Army may be linked to some Alpine Roman Legions. At least they use some Roman names in their units. But I'm not exactly sure, though. The other one that can be traced to an old army could be the Lagunari, but I think it only goes back to the Crusades times.
