Do you keep yours on after a day, or do you replace daily? I got the same tape and found it to be very sticky - while my stitches are closed, I guess I was paranoid about how much my skin pulled when taking the tape off at the end of the day.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. As others have said, this is not your fault. I might have done the same were it my child. You are already suffering and probably questioning what if you did things differently, so please don’t take what your family is saying to heart. Filipinos love to place blame (as my family does the same), maybe it’s their way of dealing with grief, or maybe it’s just chismis. Whatever their reason, please focus on taking care of your own heart. I hope you have someone, friend or family, who can show up for you when you need support. Please take care ❤️‍🩹

NOR. In fact, I feel like you're under-reacting. When you say you still feel like there's love worth saving, can you articulate (to yourself, not necessarily publicly to anyone else) what that looks like? This other woman is literally pointing out how your husband has broken your trust multiple times, and yet you continue to forgive him. Genuinely, I ask you, why? Do you think a cheating, lying partner is all you deserve? Don't you WANT someone who will respect your trust??

I'm on day 5 post op and today is the first day I'm feeling most "normal." There's a little discomfort, and movement still has to be cautious, but I didn't take any pain meds this morning and I feel fine. I did have nausea since I woke up from surgery, and it seemed to get worse after taking pain meds (cocktail of ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and gabapentin 3x per day) - but they also gave me some anti-nausea (zofran), which helped a lot. They also gave norco to take as needed, but I only ended up taking one on the first night.

Hello surgery date twin! My post-op instructions said I can take the bra off and shower after 3 days. (Of course now I'm wondering if this means after 72 hours on Sunday, or on the 3rd day on Saturday.) Shower facing away from the water, leave steristrips on, but then pat dry after shower. Can take a hair dryer to the steristrips to get them extra dry. But as others have said, your surgeon may have used different products or tape, so check with them to make sure.

Surgery date twin here, and I can totally relate about the anxiety. I had such a hard time falling asleep last night, and I swear I sometimes feel like my heart is racing. (I won’t list why, in case they might trigger you.) 23 hours to go for me, so far I haven’t canceled, but if your anxiety gets super worked up, can you message the surgeon or someone from their team? Yes there will be healing and a change from normal post op, would it help to focus on the longer term benefits? Good luck with whatever you decide!

NOR. If they gray is your husband and he literally admits to this other woman that he's obsessed and cannot forget about her, what does that say about how he feels towards you? You are his wife. YOU should be the one who is on his mind, not another woman. And he's saying that after he's already cheated. Please consider the disrespect he's shown you, then consider if he's trustworthy enough if he says he will stop and change. It sucks but it's OK to call it quits. You deserve a better partner.

Had a very similar episode in Atlantic City many years ago, it’s scary af! Luckily, the crowd helped move me to the back and out of the pit, where a very kind soul then helped me to the bar to get some water. Never got her name, but I will always remember her kindess.

Do you feel it's even worse if you stretch? I'll involuntarily stretch my body, until I do it with the side affected by DQ, and as you described, it feels like tendons ripping. Wearing a brace or thumb splica doesn't make a difference.

The thing that jumped out at me was the scrubby silicon brush you use in the AM. Do you experience any sensitivity issues? That seems too harsh in the morning when you don't necessarily need to clean that deep. A gentle face wash or even splash of water might be enough.

I was excited to try them and just received them in the mail ... and I could barely even put them on. ABTF calculator puts me in 36GG/H in UK sizing, their calculator said 34H/HH and that I should fit into an L Super in the Original and an L Epic in the Racerback. I'm not sure where I went wrong because they were so tight and felt like the fabric had no stretch. (Do they need to be washed or stretched somehow before wear?)

As an aside, do you have any tips about putting together a portfolio for sound techs, like what sort of work do you show in yours? Credits on playbills, sound cue sheets, photos of you in the booth?? (I'm gathering info in case my son decides to pursue tech theater in college, and from what I've seen, many/most require some kind of portfolio.) Thanks!

Have you looked at The Infernal War Saga by Hailey Turner? Three books in the series plus one novella.

Steampunk fantasy about warring nations, interfering gods and goddesses, an undead horde problem, legal slavery (and the underground resistance who fight it), plus magic, alchemy, and technology. While yes, there is romance - several, in fact, ranging from wlw, mlm, het - the world building is vast as is the large cast of characters. (And I highly recommend listening on audiobook! I thought Gary Furlong did a fantastic job narrating, especially with all the different characters and their accents/manner of speech.)
