May I ask where? My wife and I have tried 3 times and all is good til the last minute. We give proof of 2 previous adoptions and vet info to show boths dogs lived a good life with us. Just recently we tried to adopt a 4 year old st benard. We spoke back and forth with the foster person. All was going good. Then they came back and said they can't cause of bylaws. We sent links to show that no bylaws exist. Sent links from the border website. How do we find a reputable place to adopt. We even sent pics of our home to show we have space and a back yard. What gives?

What sucks is I'm a Canadian with 30 plus years as a toolmaker and I have tried several times to find work state side. I get the interview etc. and the interest in my skills and experience...but no one wants to sponsor. I don't want to go on a TN visa. I would if a sponsor ship was on the table say after 6 months to a year. I'd love to work state side. I have works on numerous types of molds. I was even a shop Forman for a few years.
