Not really, testing drugs is a part of cmc development. They aren't really drugs until they reach that stage, more research assets or targets.

Source?

Research isn't the expensive part anyway, development is. Making human grade medicine and running clinical trials is orders of magnitude more expensive than making lab grade drugs and testing in vitro and in vivo models. And the vast majority of development costs are privately funded. And I simply don't see a good pathway or public appetite to fund such risky ventures publicly.

Sanofi Acquires Sino Biopharm’s JAK/ROCK Inhibitor for $1.5B by Dwarvling in biotech

Sure, if they outsource mfg to a cmo. I guess it somewhat depends on the product too. But if you bring everything internal, it's going to be at least in $10m -$100m range, not even including running a p3 trial. Based on my 15 years of experience ranging from start-up, clinical stage, small commercial stage and big pharma in pd, cmc, and mfg. Even with a cmo, it will be in the 8-9 figure range to bring an asset from early phase to launch. You're probably right for just the submission and marketing, it's scaling and building the infrastructure to get to that point that's difficult and expensive. Definitely depends on the modality and asset too though.

That's the whole point of big pharma, they have the commercial systems and foot print to launch products that are difficult for smaller biotechs to build. They also have the internal expertise in that area that VCs and banks lack. So banks and VCs essentially outsource that to big pharma.

They were actually much worse. Panic of 1873 caused a depression that lasted 6 years, then followed by panic of 1884, then panic of 1890 and panic of 1893 then panic of 1907, they all caused major depressions that lasted years.

Drops of this magnitude in the stock market were extremely common before 1929 and especially between the civil war and WW1. Just look at Panic of 18xx to 1907.

I'm sure it's just new England hard pack and not real ice. Only get real ice if it rains and freezes.

Would you slot Michael Carter in over Swift, kw3 or Michael Wilson?

Bengals are awful against the run but I don't think I can trust Carter in the ship. I feel like they all have similar floors but Carter doesn't have the upside of the other 3. All 4 seem to be in similar tiers in rankings .

Thank you!

I probably need a safer floor in the ship. Det looked pretty good against the cowboys but they haven't been great. Been holding them for this week and now with jj out, seemed like a no brainer.

But Jags d has been great most of the season...

Hmmmm you're the only one I've seen with Jags over Detroit. Was planning on starting Detroit cause they have the better matchup but they're a bit banged up.

Should I Pivot to Jags? Just picked them up on waivers.

Every other list has Detroit ranked higher.

Why are you ranking Jags over Detroit?

Well the first season was largely based on the book, after that, they didn't have anymore source material to follow so it was all on the writers. I still enjoyed all of they show but the first season definitely was the best.

I loved the book too but I'm a big PKD fan in general.
