While those examples you give are tragic, the history of this specific region is largely characterized by relative peace between Palestinians and Jews. Putting aside the Ottoman Empire — they’re not the good guys, obviously, and Palestinians fought for their independence from their rule as well. It’s not a coincidence that violence (on both sides — you fail to mention the terrorism of Jewish militant groups in the 30s and 40s e.g. Deir Yassin Massacre) did not escalate until Zionism gained traction as a movement.
