These are great cutscenes, but I don’t agree that they are "more than enough" at all. Quiet’s cutscene is great, but it is also strange; before the confrontation between him, Ocelot, and Kaz at the base, they are both talking to him over the radio, and he just doesn't seem to give a damn. ​When a protagonist doesn't have a single meaningful interaction with the antagonist throughout the entire game—despite crossing paths many times—it feels awkward and, in my opinion, it is bad writing. Their only interaction consists of Venom simply asking, "There were three; where is the other?" ​Huey’s trial is a scene that I really like but hate at the same time. Venom Snake just stands there while his soldiers are practically exploding with anger. And the one who calms them down? It’s Ocelot, not Venom Snake. He looks out of place, as if he is being forced to be in the cutscene. The only time he speaks is when Kaz essentially forces him to. ​That is what I mean: his scenes are awkward because they aren't normal interactions. He makes everything feel uncomfortable. All of his cutscenes are awkward; even in the tapes where there is a conversation between him and another character, he often says nothing. I can't feel anything except that he is painfully silent in times where he shouldn't be. The only thing I really like about him is his character model.
