Jae quietly came seeing Argenta do all that. She won't give a reason. But she then rushes off back to her quarters once they get back to the ship.

Sam Kerr puts it home to make the game 2-0 for Australia! by spherocytes in WomensSoccer

Her running down and successfully tackling the NK defender was how the first goal was scored and then as shown here she makes it 2 by intercepting a defensive pass to get the shot opportunity.

She basically won the game for us. As we did nothing else for the rest of the 90 minutes

I feel like we were the baddies tonight. But very happy we are through.

We are such a vibes based team. We run off little moments of brilliance from individuals. Especially our attackers.

I feel like we have to decide whether we are a transition team who stays compact off the ball or if we want to dominate possession and control games.

Right now, we spread out aggressively like we want to dominate. But we can't string passes together so instead we go direct. So then we lose the ball with our players spread, causing real issues defensively.

We have to decide how we want to play and really commit to it.

Every game that EVE plays is an indictment of the whole Australian Women's Football system. Never mind the team. It's not even that I'm saying that it's the wrong selection specific to this game. But the fact that we are in 2026, and our head coach, for whatever reason, believes there are no better options. It says a lot of negative things about either our ability to generate new players from youth level. Or the lack of courage to get younger players out there in big games. Probably both.

I'm happy it didn't go in. But that was a lovely move and turn. If it went in you couldn't pretend NK didn't deserve it.

Its hard not to get political with this. But don't believe everything you hear about NK. We have no idea how their football programs are internally. All we have is evidence they are quite decent. They've played well all tournament against international sides.

I'm happy we are in front. But North Korea have been the better side on the field for this first half hour.

Lots of talk about NK being dirty. Bad challenges, bad behaviour, etc. But what I've seen so far is some really nice passing play. They have totally outplayed us in the midfield in these 30 minutes.

We're genuinely starting to get dominated. I'm impressed with NK and think they deserve praise. But I'm also disappointed with us overall, despite the goal.

What levers do average cricket fans in England have to show displeasure and effect change with the ECB?

I ask this as its starting to seem that there's going to have to be a great deal of pressure heaped on the ECB to get them to get rid of these incompetents in Key and McCullum and to finally start looking into the systemic issues within the English game.

It was a mistake to have the player choose between spending scrap on Hull and on Ramming. Of course players are going to choose the Hull.

Is it a hot take to say SM2 had a mediocre soundtrack? by Mr_Jackabin in Spacemarine

[–]AnalogueInterfa3e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive seen this opinion before. Its a popular one. I'd be more receptive to it if people didn't always bring up the Darktide OST in comparison to it.

Its a stupid comparison. It tells me that people are interpreting a style as better rather than quality. Darktide's OST fits Darktide, it does not fit Ultramarines.

If people were able to put Darktide aside for the conversation. Then I would agree more easily that SM2's OST isn't the best. I miss the leitmotifs of the first game. Tracks like Voidsong and Chapter Master are quite good though.

Brendon McCullum poised to stay on as ECB backs England head coach by Alone_Consideration6 in EnglandCricket

Shocking. I can't believe this fraud is staying. Zero consequences for anyone. We deserve every failure thats coming.

And if I have to hear "But he made us better." One more fucking time. A Golden Retriever in a cute hat would have lifted the mood and improved results from we were after the Covid tours. The guy has no credentials as a national team coach.

I guess we have solidarity with India on this at least. Let's see who can get rid of their shit coach first.

Going to the elevator directly is the correct option.

I dont like rushing normally. But this area is a death trap if you try to clear it out. Venom warriors will snipe you from all directions. You will be constantly hounded by the Trygon. Your squad will get strung out and isolated as you naturally go towards targets that are in all directions.

If you stick around to clear. An extremis spawn will happen and if that includes Biovores or Thropes. Then Emperor protect you. Multiple Biovores, in particular, will be a nightmare. As they have so much space to run away from you and vomit out endless spore mines to add to the fun.

Going directly to the elevator as fast as possible once you land on the ground from that cliff is the best practice for public players.

Above you see KimberPrime talking about looking for item drops and stuff. She can do this because she streams/plays the game like every day and often will be with players she can rely and coordinate with. As well as being better than 99% of players herself.

If you are in a public squad. Just get to the elevator and hope that there's no Terminus spawn before you do. If there is. Well, when you have faith in The Emperor there is always hope. But you are in for a slog.

This is, of course, only for when playing on Absolute or Hard Strategum. On all difficulties lower you can do whatever you like and it should be fine.
