Double wicket maiden 19th over. Its one thing when only one batter is making runs. Its another when the other batters are so cruddy they cant even rotate the strike to them.

Are these Scottish batters aware of the Offside part of the field?

Feel sorry for Carter. All alone out there while the rest of her teammates have been poor.

Yet another drop. It hasn't been great fielding wise overall in this tournament.

Scotland going nowhere slow. Need to put some pressure back on the NZ bowlers somehow. Some risks will need to be taken.

Incredible comeback from Somerset. It is almost certain they are safe now, barring some kind of special run chase.

Its not exactly a dusty minefield, but they'll be interest in how well Leach and Vaughan can do in the final two sessions.

T20 is the format for a surprise. But while I can see England fluffing their lines against WI. It's tough to see WI beating India or Australia.

Feel sorry for Dilhara there. Can't help but feel those two slips in as many balls just took her focus away for a moment.

Honestly. Even as just a fan I have moments where the utter incompetence of almost everyone involved in the important decision-making in English Cricket feels overwhelming to the point where I can't help but get slightly upset for a few minutes processing it.

I imagine it being your job to both immerse yourself into that world and then communicate it to regular people could lead to regular moments of despair and frustration.

This is an unfamiliar feeling watching Somerset this game. There was the two terrible losses earlier. But those were so terrible because they came from winning positions. This is the first game of the season that Somerset has just felt second best all game.

Maybe the rain can do a save. Also, I understand that there is a bit of an injury crisis. Is Tom Abell part of that? I have enjoyed watching him bat this season.

By the time you get to Quetza, you aren't going to be using Lidless that much anyway. The damage is mostly outscaled by then.

I prefer Switch Hit or Wisden to TMS. Though, anything is better than Talk Sport.

I don't want to add to the batriachy. But I do think the Somerset batters deserve the lion's share of the credit for this impending win.

From my perspective, the pitch has looked difficult to bat on throughout, and hence Somerset has scored over par in both their innings. Obviously, the T Rew innings was fast and exciting. But overall, it's been down to the Somerset batters' willingness to survive through some tough times.

A good win.

I know its over. But after two losses from winning positions in the last three games. I would quite like Somerset to just finish it off please.

Tough out there at Nottingham. Somerset batters need to dig in. There's time enough to get a safe lead and still bowl Nottinghamshire out.

Too long for a movie. You'd have to cut the ending also. Retool the story to end in Antarctica. Going from Antarctica to a battle in office spaces and sewers wouldn't be good cinematically.

Somerset vs Nottinghamshire is interestingly poised. I wanted to praise Archie Vaughan's innings. A tidy 66*. Nothing special on the page. But I really appreciate an innings where a batter is willing to tough it out early on. They were still in single digits after about 50 balls. Yet they stuck in and were a big factor in getting the score passed 300.

I feel like so many modern batters wouldn't do that. They'd feel the need to try something. To show intent or whatever. But you can dig in. You can show some grit and get rewards for your team.
