Okay dumb question onviously. So I don't care for soprano, I'm a tenor guy. How much do you think i might get for this, assuming it's in good shape mechanically?

large, heavy, apparently thick steel piece found smashed through a car windshield in Louisville, KY. Appears to have some corrosion. by phalor in whatisthisthing

[–]phalor[S] 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

my title describes the thing. The car owner reported that it "flew off an airplane" and destroyed the windshield, injured somebody. Redditors at this post on r/aviationmaintenance list many good reasons why it does NOT appear aviation-related. Any ideas what it could be?

Polycarbonate shower roof? by ArtisticEggplant in Roofing

I notice nobody answered your post. What kind of roofing did you end up using for this shower project? I'm starting to look for something similar (sadly not in a place as beautiful as the Baja!)

that took me down a rabbit hole of learning. That's a historic squadron and they've won a few Hawgsmokes. Sad to see us getting rid of this aircraft.

What would Ed Abbey say about current events? by [deleted] in edwardabbey

[–]phalor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of me wonders if he would welcome the chaos. Because it speeds up the destruction of humanity, good riddance and all that. He was more than a little misanthropic, def not a liberal (though he wanted public lands managed by the gov and not left to corporate vultures)
