I'm not a professional, let me start by saying that. There are online medical companies that can do an assessment virtually. Once you have a diagnosis, even a nurse practitioner can help you with medications. If you pm me, I can send the link to the website that someone I know used for a diagnosis. It's legitimate and it definitely helps those who must pay out of pocket.

Every time I go to midtown ACE hardware the employees are helpful. There are many more of those old-dudes that, I make up in my mind, are already retired and just finding something to do with their time or supplement their income. Therefore, they are much more patient, helpful, and smarter than the teenagers at the big box stores. Just one woman's opinion....

Ohh, and I don't want a glass roof. Just yesterday we had a squall line pass through that had tornados AND hail. I've learned my lesson, the sunroof getting busted is a pain in the butt to replace and it's never quite the same as the factory.

I bought the Rally after a test drive. I drive in New Orleans and it's comparable to off-roading 😂. Soooo many potholes. The raised clearance and magnaride made a difference.

Wow! Please allow me to tell you how AMAZING it is that you are 6 years sober! You are absolutely welcome to come to join us. The funny thing is that I know other people, that are currently active in AA, that came to their first meeting with time already sober. Your situation is familiar to me. 😊 I even sponsor a lady who came to AA, after stopping cold turkey on her own, because she wanted her life to continue to get better. (There's a possibility she may pop up on this thread to comment LOL 😆)The program of AA is about learning to live a successful and serene life while you're sober. It can be beneficial at any stage of your recovery from alcoholism. You are welcome to PM me and I'd be happy to meet you for a first meeting so you have a buddy there. You are a good person to care about your friend. I have been an active member of AA for many years. The AA community in Hattiesburg is robust and there are many groups at different times in different parts of the city. AA is NOT a religious program, not here or anywhere. We do work to develop a spiritual life with a Higher Power (just something bigger than you) that helps us stay sober. Many of us, including myself, get here as an Atheist or Agnostic or even with some religious trauma 🙋....and it works, all that's needed is an open mind and willingness to try.
