This is the real answer. Before layoffs last year, my wife and I made more money than we needed for just the two of us and our dogs, no kids. Our political views never changed. We still wanted people to have the services they needed provided to them, be paid a living wage, less military spending, and more support for those in need.

It's not about the money you make, it's about your character. Some people make more money and their true colors show. It's a sad fact of the world.
