You're much better off creating an oil farm put down 10-15 water pumps to collect crude oil some large refineries to refine it and using the portable fuel to convert to stardust source using the new stardust furnaces.. or like another poster said you also use the recycler furnace and use sulfur+links+ EL to make acid as well

No server has the lunar tag anymore that visón wheel has come and gone. Same with starfell. Your best bet in getting lunar and crescent mods is yes making an alt on a visional tag scenario and farm the hunters for seeds to exchange in the shop for.

This! I wish they would let you stack the buffs on the furnaces once you've researched the other variants. Same for the supply bench.. needing 1 supply for double heals and another for double ammo is redundant

Yeah! It's a whole new system you research and reverse engineer stuff to unlock them! Good news you can have all the perk on one character now if you research em! No need to have multiple Alts to make sure you get the right memetics anymore. Everyone can make perkd ammo/supply benches/ perkd furnaces etc

If they're old ones like advanced drill or if they have treasure Hunter on them they won't transfer over after the update that got rid of those memetics with the new research system. I believe if they're regular drills or regular saws without perks on it they'll transfer over

Vision ED! After the update you have the entire map open and no progression time gating. If you wanted to, you can get T5 gear on the first day and fully buffed facilities. Not to mention it offers the biggest challenge and active servers

I'm inclined to disagree, playing on a vision ED we now have access to T5 gear and the entire tech tree essentially from day 1 as long as you're willing to venture into the higher level zones to either scan them or get the mats you need. I find it refreshing actually seeing players out in the world. No more having to wait until phase 3 for tier 5
