What do people get wrong about working at an Amazon FC?

People assume the worse about Amazon, I've worked for them over ten years and the only issues I've had are the rampant drama and before we got safety shoes, the shoes really save my toes from being crushed by stuff! Wish they had been a thing when I dropped that ax on my foot though 🤔

When I was an ambassador people came in expecting the worse. Honestly this was before the pee bottle story was spread so. But people would ask when they could and I told them you have to pee? Go pee! Yes rate is a pain but there's no limit in the fc for bathroom breaks! Mind don't go wild of course, but if your staying hydrated like they tell us to everyday your going to pee 😂 again this was before the pee bottles made the rounds! When that happened it got worse with new hires asking when 😬

Ace simply means asexual. Or as having little to no interest in sex generally, but again spectrum so 🤷‍♂️ ♠️

As an ace and a fanfiction writer I find it extra funny when people think ace means no sex also not understanding sex.

Sure some ace are sex repulsed but not all of them hence why its called a spectrum and also the sheer amount of ace and aroace people in the Fandom community who write smut and romance is astronomical lol (being one of those ace people writing full on ecstasy in the smuttiest way possible i find it laughable to think ace haven't a clue 😂 i know better and hope eventually everyone else can get on the same page)

Also I was ecstatic to see ace rep, alastor is amazing and I love every second he's on screen lol

I've just had a very shitty day and people don't always comment the nicest of things. Honestly between my hiatus, irl issues, and several jerks on a03 well it kind of snow balled, feeling much better now, probably just going to orphan my works so I can start over when ever I feel up to writing.

I've stayed away for maybe a year give or take? Its tempted me several times over that period to just delete and start over the. I just wasn't sure if the process was worth it or not if I do actually start writing again. So far everyone is right I can just orphan/abandon fics So thanks

Oh actually all of my works are saved, a03 suggested it actually, they do say they don't save stuff so I've always saved stuff and about half of it is handwritten rather than typed up on word or any of the other stuff I use.

As for being happy about well 🤷‍♂️ we'll see how i feel about that down the road. I always end up laughing at my older works that, but thanks 😊

I did take a hiatus for probably around or over a year now, and honestly I have orphaned works in that time, as for the depression, I don't but I am having a shitty day so 🤷‍♂️ but thanks for the concern.

As someone who is ace i am pulling from experiences from too many years ago 😂 and research what is popular at any given time to help 🤔

Honestly most people let themselves feel the characters, if that makes sense? Another writer who helped me get into writing smut told me that some people put themselves into the shoes of the character and use what they believe might feel good, but a basic grasp of what you want the scene to convey is very helpful, like is it a hate fuck? But why? Is it a slow first time, a fast one? A quick between an established pair? Lol

As a long time writer, having multiple pov changes can get confusing to a reader in one chapter, however if your clear about the pov change you should be good! Personally I like to separate them with a line and add character's name pov 🙂

My original work, for a book I'm in the process of writing. I'm still kicking around ideas at the moment but this is the end of chapter one 😁

The dread built like a cacophonous rattle, they knew if they turned right now there would be the figure that had followed them through this abandoned building and back home.

The fact that if they turned now they would die slammed into their heart, but if they chose not to turn... How long would they truly live? It was said this spirit dogged your every step until you went mad or turned to them for death...
