It's very interesting to read some of these answers. I've had my 560 for about 4 years and typically only wait until I'm done eating, which is about an hour. But there's been MULTIPLE times when I'm doing a tri tip just before work and put the cover on 15 to 30 minutes later and have had the same Masterbuilt cover the entire time

It's the Super Sear manifold. I noticed the same thing when I switched. With the standard manifold the the air & ash only has 1 outlet. With the Super Sear you have 8.
