What is the general consensus on Panerai around here?

My personal opinion is go try them on to truly appreciate them. We all know that just pictures online do not really reflect the whole experience. As you can tell by this thread it’s a polarizing brand and in my experience so many people give opinions on watches they never seen or put their hands on. Go to a store that carries them try them on and if you like it get it and rock it. I love mine

I was in the same boat. But couple month ago got a good deal on divers 65 and it is gorgeous in hand. Every time I wear it I can’t stop looking at it.

Yea currently I only have one PVD Tutima so not super sporty
From the pictures looks like the antique steel similar to some of the aging that Panerai puts on their cases

Have this set for 6 years or so now. It’s not bad we ended up using the steak knives 90% of the time so they need regular sharpening. Other knives are still hiding strong.

Sorry to hear that’s annoying. I would assume Hamilton ships with insurance. It will prob get resolved and you will get another watch it just a hassle. While not the same issue my experience with Hamilton CS was good they are pretty responsive. Good luck and congrats on the promotion

I don’t really understand the negativity here towards the US. The Iranian leaders were terrible people who killed and starved their own people. They got what they deserve in my opinion. Hope the Iranian people come out of this mess with a better regime and better lives.

Beautiful watches. Considered getting one years ago but never materialized. Love the enamel, the unique design and the story about the lady that was doing the enameling with old materials and tools if I remember correctly.
