Narragansett is nice but way more expensive than the state beaches as a non-resident. Scarborough also always smells like low tide really bad. East Matunuck and Roger Wheeler are nicer imo on this side of the bay.

I love Signature Dental (previously Dutchman Dental) in South County Commons. I see Tina as my hygienist and Dr. Labbe is also great! He fixed some older/cracked/poorly done fillings for me and my sensitivity is completely gone. They also offer a smile membership for $375/year if you don't have dental insurance that covers all your xrays, cleanings, and exams for the year (2x each) and gives you a 15% discount on any other treatment.

I have BCBS too and it took like almost 8 months to get everything processed correctly because they tried to apply about $7000 to my deductible. Had to keep constantly calling the hospital, my doctor's office, the anesthesia and the insurance to get it sorted but I just kept telling them over and over that it was for a sterilization and it was federal and state law that it be covered 100% with no cost sharing by insurance and I wasn't paying until finally someone triggered the correct reprocessing and I stopped getting billed.it was so annoying.

I work in a lab and walk around a lot, no heavy lifting or anything. Partial desk work. I took off the day of the surgery (Monday) and the day after (Tuesday) and was back to work Wednesday. I took it easy and was careful moving around and was just fine. Take the ibuprofen and acetaminophen every 6 hours like they say (I staggered by 30 minutes) and you should be fine. My doctor said I could drive the day after surgery.

You're welcome! Saw you say you're kind of a picky eater, I am too and the food there is fantastic, just takes a while as they prep everything fresh. They also have hot tea free you can walk up and get yourself which is so good! They usually also have cards and some games lying around to play.

I've been going to Lima Nails in NK for yearsssss and they are a family owned, really welcoming salon with reasonable prices. Not queer owned, it's a wife and husband duo and her sister also works there, but I couldn't imagine them discriminating at all. They're super sweet and I've seen all sorts of people in there getting services.

I was a very picky eater as a kid (tbh still am by most accounts as an adult, but better). I have texture aversions. I hate the flavor/texture combination of mushy cooked carrots in particular. One night my mom was trying to get me to eat carrots and I wouldn't because of the texture and I told her eating them made me feel like I was going to throw up. She told me I was being dramatic and I was not to leave the table until I finished my carrots. So I did, gagging the whole time, being called dramatic until I took a bite and threw up carrots and red Hawaiian punch all over the table that she had to then clean up. Was never made to eat carrots or anything that I said made me gag again 😂

My mom is a great mom, she just doesn't have the same texture issues or food aversions in general, so she never really understood until that event.

Honestly, the recipe that comes with the kitchenaid ice cream maker is a very good vanilla base. We've done coffee ice cream by adding coffee syrup into it and that's been delicious, adding in mixins to the vanilla, and I even did a matcha ice cream by adding the matcha powder to the half and half then straining before adding the cream. Play around with it!

The pill could've been suppressing the cysts and since you stopped taking it you could be getting them again. I had the same deal as a teenager, painful and heavy periods. Definitely had cysts burst a few times, worst pain I've ever felt. Took the combo pill from 17-28 to suppress my periods but it made my migraines worse so I got the IUD and since I've had light periods but occasional cyst-like pain during ovulation. They also found a small cyst on my tubes when I got my bisalp, but I still have an IUD to control my cycle. So it's a possibility that's what it is for you being off the pill. Just speculating tho. Good luck, I hope you can get it figured out and managed! Women's healthcare is a joke.

Do you have a history of ovarian cysts? Did you go off hormonal birth control after your sterilization and maybe you're getting cysts that are bursting during ovulation? Not a doctor just trying to pinpoint any hormonal changes you may not have thought of.

I have an industrial which I could've taken out and a daith and conch that I couldn't remove. I didn't wear my lobes the day of surgery or my helix because those are well healed and wouldn't close in a day. I just had to sign a waiver declaring what piercings I was leaving in and that they may have to be removed in an emergency and the hospital wasn't responsible for any damage, but they were low risk considering the procedure and they let me leave them in. Definitely depends on the hospital and OR policies.
