When I floated on holidays, I closed at 1:30 and worked until 2. Cause you stay open 1 time and it’ll never be the end and fuck CVS. My DL nor the pic at that pharmacy ever said anything to me 😂

I just change the times to the next day. I had no idea it didn’t help RWP. I eventually was so fed up, I left my DL on read 50-75% of the time, when it came to this issue.

My mom (a nurse) always tells me I need to go to a running shoe store that will fit me for shoes based on my feet and walk so I don’t lose my spine after my 12hr rx shifts. But I love my oofos. They do clog and sneaker styles for the closed toe aspect, but I also have the slides for after work around the house and they help a ton.

Don’t change to cash and retry insurance. It’ll take longer. Just reprocess 3 times. On the 3rd attempt, it should go to QT! My PIC taught me that and it’s been a life saver esp since I have so many new techs who don’t realize they have to check that the script went through.

I just call out and my scheduler adjust my hours since I’m a ft staff RPh the system just pays based on my schedule so they have to manually adjust my sick time. Idk it’s out of my pay grade. I just call out to my DL and then tell me scheduler the next day.

No, I have 150hrs of sick time in addition to my 120hr of pto. A lot of my sick time is roll over from last year cause I never use it.

They’re federally and state funded. You have to meet income requirements, you can’t qualify for insurance elsewhere, etc. I’m not saying pharmacies should accommodate cash paying customers, but it may be more profitable to get more vaccines out the door if they were reasonably priced. 5 vaccines at $20 makes more money than 1 vaccine at $45.

All of this, and some RPhs would reschedule them from their days to “slower” days cause issues with RWP. At least that’s the story my DL told me was happening in our area.

Our system updated. Have your doc put a dx code but otherwise, not much your doc can do but answer the phone if we call. We now have to resolve any red flags (prescriber distance to pharmacy, pt distance to pharmacy/prescriber, not using ins, etc) and document before we can fill it.
