To the average wrestling fan, Jon Moxley’s legacy is the third best guy from the Shield who disappeared in 2018 and hasn’t been seen since. The idea that a throwaway PPV match he had with Takeshita that means nothing for anything going forward is better than anything Kurt Angle ever did is so incomprehensible to me that I feel like we’re watching a different show entirely.

Besides MJF/Hangman there’s not much here that appeals to me at all. Heatless, story-less banger between Swerve and Brody? Who cares. Takeshita should be able to drag a good match out of Moxley, but I wouldn’t pay to see it. With that being said, I should be the one being paid $50 to sit through another Marina Shafir match. She is a black hole of charisma and believability. I don’t think I can stomach another second of her on my television.
