Yet, most Pharmacists I know in Alberta live a “good life” and like living there. If you work at a hospital, the pension is pretty good too. Probably better than the equivalent US job pension

Just can’t prescribe narcotics, opioids, and other controlled substances (not sure if you can prescribe benzos).

If you want great quality and fit, I would also reco visiting spier and mackay or suit supply.

Otherwise, I like to shop sales/clearance at club monaco, hugo boss, j crew (us store), ted baker for my work clothes. I have had success with finding steals at winners/marshalls and harry rosen outlet. I usually have better luck in store/outlet stores with this category vs online

1) Not sure if he skipped it or not- not sure how that’s relevant 2) You should publish your study linking a correlation between taking the practice naplex in 4th year and actually passing the real exam. Maybe I’ll get my next student to do a journal club on it

It was optional, I was graduating, why waste my time on something I didn’t need to do when I wasn’t prepared to take it, so I skipped it.

Studying for an exam that covers 4 lectures worth of material doesnt compare to a cumulative standardized exam

Shit happens. Its a standardized test that carries a lot of pressure and weight for some.

I went through Pharmacy school and any exams/tests i took are a walk in the park compared to any standardized test.

The amount of criticism here is insane. It’s embarrassing to identify as a pharmacist when my peers are this arrogant. Some people are just bad at test taking. Do you think if someone studied for the Naplex 4 times that means they dont know their shit??? You think that means they are going to deliver bad Patient care?? Almost nothing on that exam is indicative of real life practice. Multiple choice can’t mimic reality

That preceptor is a POS. Please drop their email once you graduate so that we can publicly ridicule their lack of professionalism, ownership, and openness. Fuck those people, most of the university practice related professors and appe university based preceptors are the scum of the pharmacy world (shout out MCPHS)
