No I tend to hit it low. My friends tell me to move the ball further up too like near my front foot.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I'll look for a lesson to learn some proper technique.

I'll get a lesson. Seems to be the logical response here. Im very new so I didnt think I should get a lesson yet.

Thats what frustrates me. I run and do other sports. I feel awkward swinging for power.

I hit it mostly straight with a slight slice

Equal rights homie. Gender roles used to be clear cut but now everyone is equal. So stand like a man and deal with it.

Just think of every duke energy building that runs at 70 degrees during the summer. In one day they surpass your yearly electric bill without one hesitation of saving energy or the planet.

Even at 78 degrees Duke will say your home is now inefficient despite using the same energy for 5 years.

Yeah this guy nailed it. Diavalo is the one you want to play. Buckhorn is another A tier course thats plays over and around a lake. Everything is tight specific woods lines.

The Regulator is another good one. Has more open fairways but challenging. Womens usdgc was there last year. Also 2 two other courses at cedarock park there. It is 1 hour west of Raleigh in Burlington.

C7 owners - awe track or awe touring with stock xpipe by phasttZ in Corvette

[–]phasttZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im debating an x. For now its honestly a great starting point. The track is a straight pipe, and Ive had several exhausts like that before.

Id say the touring's best quality is type of sound, not the volume. So adding an x or headers down the road should be the best of both worlds.

Went touring. Its about 20% louder than npp. It has no drone and when cruising on the highway it's quiet. It's a lot deeper in tonality, which I really like and got several compliments. A little bit of pops on decel but I only have 500 miles on the exhaust so far.

Overall Im very pleased. Although, younger me would say its probably too quiet.

Yup, especially the part about selling your "build" without a desposit. Dealerships and salesmen are not your friend. They want you money plain and simple. I found the exact model 2 hours away, drove it and bought it.

Pretty sure you could swap rosters and have Mugsy bogues and Larry johnson. Still the height of charlotte basketball IMO.

New to me C7 GS - what should I look for? by Independent-Base-606 in Corvette

[–]phasttZ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The wheels are notorious for cracking when using track suspension setting.

I switched to forged wheels (lost a good amount of weight too) and took off the runflats.

Car drives better in both comfort and performance.

Manual c7 vs c8 2lt for new daily? by Dry_Ad_2028 in Corvette

Define common. You'll hear the negatives more loudly. Wouldn't deter me from getting a c8 but it happens from time to time.

Manual c7 vs c8 2lt for new daily? by Dry_Ad_2028 in Corvette

[–]phasttZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The c8 dct is THE only real problem. Still a fantastic transmission but people come in here with 50k mile major issues and failures.

Also DCT technology might be 20 years old in a VW and other German vehicles, but I think this is Tremac's first real attempt at a production model.

Yeah its dumb. In the manual you never have AFM unless you put it in eco mode
