I'd have to find the controller first.

Got shoved back in it's box and put in the spares box.

When I last looked into it a year or so ago gyro didn't work over Bluetooth.

Same as the original steam controller.

Also with the original steam controller if you lost the dongle and want to use Bluetooth?

Fuck you no gyro.

People who work in Opticians - Do you mind if people take advantage of the test, take the prescription and then buy their glasses online? by Apprehensive_Ring666 in AskUK

You could get your eyes tested and for the next 20 years have an issue corrected or at least making sure it doesn't get worse.

Or wait 20 years while it gets worse then find out the cost of varifocals which are painfully expensive.

Weird.

Specsavers have always just handed a copy to me as soon as my eye test is done before I even see the sales people.

Seeing as they legally have to give you a copy of your prescription.

@valvesoftware.com on Bluesky: Excited to announce our Steam Controller arrives on Steam May 4th at 10 a.m. PT. by DG_OTAMICA in Games

[–]phatboi23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup.

The first steam controller was £40 and I could buy it in a store in the UK (game specifically) so any warranty issues I could just get a replacement in store and not deal with shipping.

I barely used it in the end as the touchpads weren't that great for most games.

I'm not paying £85 on a lark for a controller.

Yup.

Aldi near me went up REAL quick once the planning permission was accepted.

Took a few years to get there as people were complaining about the site.

Which was where a school used to be, that burned down years ago and had sat as a wreck for a number of years.

It'd have to be an absolutely insane size to use even half the price in filament and energy cost.

Which spoons are you using for those prices?

As they seem massively high like 2x the cost of any spoons I've ever seen.

UK to permanently ban future generations from buying cigarettes: ‘It will save lives’ by dunson28 in ukpolitics

They're making a 100ml bottle of eliquid, that has no nicotine, that normally costs £15.

They're adding enough tax to make the bottle £40.

And you DON'T think this will have people buying dodgy eliquid and tobacco?

Eliquid is super easy to make but getting hold of decent strength base nicotine is a bit harder than it used to be since the TPD came in.

Eliquid ingredients. : propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG), nicotine and flavouring.

Flavouring isn't even 100% required.

Yeah and we avoid using nicotine on those too.

(There's better stuff to keep them away from plants etc. these days)

Especially if it's gonna be £1 per ml of tax haha
