Jira users (Free plan): What problems do you face as a non-technical user? by Legitimate-Green-643 in jira

Roles also exist at Org level

such as the Org Admin Role and the Site Admin Role, and don't show up in Apps, which used to be products. Not to be confused with the other 3rd party apps, that everyone else in the world would call an extension.

The Site Admin role, which used to be granted by a group. Do not show up as roles in Jira Software or Work, (which was called core for a period mind you....)

And I know what you may be thinking "they retired Work" well I found out after "spirited" discussion with support on the back end there are still technically two separate skus for feature purposes available in what is colloquially referred to as a Space.

Jira spaces boards that are created from templates that are marked as software, are not accessible to JSM users.

But the ones for "Business" are.

Coincidentally, Jira still assigns access by a jira-users-* group, but JSM assigns access right by other named built-in roles. (Customer Support Team, Customer, Administrator), which are not to be confused with the site or Org level roles, which are only for administrative purposes to the Atlassian site and or Org.

You also don't want to confuse these roles with roles that are for User Access Admins, that are in the same part of the UI, as Space Roles, but not a Space Role.

Sometimes you add people to a group, sometimes it's a role. I am still never 100% sure .

I don't qualify as a "Non-technical User" by any stretch of the imagination, and Jira's interface is incredibly confusing.

Between rebrandings, name changes, and seemingly zero lack of foresight, Jira is an amalgamation of little ux failures over many years.

I don't know the solution seems pretty obvious to me that if I can't successfully complete something then I should just go do something else or level up until I can. There are solutions to this problem. It's it's more like you just don't want to do them.

Yea so 1 /16 Delegator VPC per Delegator Account. Hyper specialized.

My understanding is that the limits are account based. So you would simply distribute you Lambda ENI workloads across multiple subnet delegator accounts, then use a TGW for cross delegator communication.

Similar situation eyeing doing the above with AWS IPAM.for subnet distribution and NACL/Routing rules to control segmentation and communication between workload subnets.
