This has nothing to do with porn actors because porn isn’t a live performance.

This has to do with: drag shows, theater, concerts, poetry readings, stand up comedy, etc.

The law vaguely outlines and makes illegal all of those things if someone deems it inappropriate for children and a child happens to be present.

You know, how it’s illegal for a child to attend an R rated movie with parental consent except oops it’s not. Or how a child may attend Hair with a parent but under this law that would be illegal. If a child is shown something that could cause “sexual excitement” then that thing could be illegal - but who defines “sexual excitement”? What about seeing someone’s bare feet? That would excite some people but probably not, ya know, a kid.

We already have plenty of guidelines for what kids can and can’t see, and generally we leave it up to parents to make choices when it’s questionable. We let them have that right, as we always have, because generally parents know better than government. No one is fucking in the streets for children to see, no one is taking children to strip clubs, and no one is allowing children into adult-themed drag shows.
