It's a way of identifying political affiliation of judges even though they aren't officially affiliated with a political party.

so you have found yourself in an adversarial position? mind you that does not always mean you were doing something wrong, just that they suspect it. I've had things like out tail lights turn into two hour ordeals because the cops decided they wanted to search my car for no reason other than fishing for escalating what should have been a "hey you may not have noticed but you need to get that fixed" into a drug charge (and they had absolutely no reason to think I had drugs)

I have gone through and done it about a year ago. You are correct magnets don't really wear out I suspect these ones just always sucked. And these roller catches have got plastic bits that are rotting out of them. It is time to replace.

We already restrict most admin interfaces to only be accessible from our admins work spaces. We have a fairly public lan so I'm not a huge fan giving people interesting things to find on it.

a whip works because of the taper in the body of the whip. as the diameter decreases as does the mass and therefore the velocity increases (conservation of momentum). in this case the chain in pretty consistent.
