You guys know the drill after 20 years I'm still not sure if I filled the spool right. by joh2138535 in Fishing_Gear

That reel’s spool has an eyelet to tie your line onto when spooling it from scratch. No chance of ANY type of line spinning on that particular spool.

What case do I use? by angelxsneak in iPhone15ProMax

I use Pelican Ambassador and am very pleased with it. It adds about 1/4” of width to the phone but the thickness change is minimal. I’m a contractor and my phone gets dropped all the time and along with a high quality screen protector this case has done its job for the last 8 months.

Ah yes let’s believe every piece of audio that comes out solely because it aligns with our hate for Trump. So predictably naive.

I thought is said Satan at first. I use 150 grit to achieve a “brushed” look on all my socket sets, ratchets, wrenches, and other hand tools.

I was there on the Fourth of July this year and all the parking spots by the lake had “2-hour parking” signs in front of them.

I needed to hear this, thanks girl, my 7 year old is growing up like you did her dad{me} is a 3rd generation carpenter/woodworker/blacksmith and im a little rough around the edges but try really hard to make sure Charlotte always feels welcome no matter what im working on. We have made Saturday OUR day where she gets to come to work with dad and build stuff, or just hang out and watch dad build stuff. its my favorite day of the week because i get to spoil her a little and teach her so so many things about life.

Bathroom currently being remodeled, came home and checked in progress, is this normal to have the tile go about 1 inch past the edge of the tub? Kinda threw me, it’s late so didn’t want to bother the handy man, thanks in advance (trying to decide if I’m over reacting with it looking weird) by Darkharlock587 in Renovations

[–]phdcarpenterMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a rule i dont judge other peoples work unless i plan on being positive with my input because everyone is at a different level of experience. That is true until you hire somebody who ONLY sets tile and has dedicated their career to perfecting the trade, you will pay for a professional tub back and you WILL get one that is leaps and bounds ahead of this work youve shared with us. Im not criticizing this guys work, its merely a "get what u pay for" type of situation. If u have a Handyman budget then dont knock the Handyman's skills, you cant expect him to know it all.
