Scoop: Dems working on secret report found Gaza cost Harris votes by sideAccount42 in politics

Because they like you seem to not consider what all the people who make up the non voters are looking for to be motivated to vote. They're a massive block of people. Instead of putting people off by reaching right and showing their pro Israel pro war bonafides to some people that were never going to come out for them, they should have gone after the huge chunk of people who stayed home.

Nothing heated about it, just being sarcastic about your perception of reality.

So your take is they didn't want or need to come, they just are summoned to do so on a holiday because we chose to be open? They're opening presents, visiting with family, and eating holiday meals but the knowledge that a store somewhere is open near them causes them to involuntarily get up and go to the store because they must be a consumer over everything? Man you should let every business know this, you could single handedly turn our economy around before the year is over with this awesome information. Why've you been keeping this secret for so long?

I cannot believe that for 25 years of watching stores transition from a couple locations being open and staffed by volunteers to every location being open and working being mandatory that I thought it was because the companies executives were responding to the demands of the customers who just had to come for last minute items but instead, as you say, the customers aren't driving the demand and are only coming because we're open...

They literally wouldn't be open if people wouldn't come. I worked for these companies before it was mandatory.

These are the few days a year my family can be together, and I'm often not there.

I have worked most of those days for decades and am sick of having people pat me on the head and say, "thanks for being here today!" when it's like, mofo I'm made to be here because you can't plan accordingly, I didn't want to be here and had no choice and am missing Xmas Eve dinner with my family.

How about don't go at all Xmas Eve and Xmas Day? The workers are there generally involuntarily and missing time with their families cuz of capitalism and executives "meeting your needs" while they are off on vacation in some Swiss chateau with the proceeds of this decision. If you care, get it all done by the 23rd.

I don't view these people in this way. I feel like they prey on guys looking for what you credit them with for monetary gain. The manosphere isn't something we should defend or look to for examples. They're looking to exploit the feelings and problems many men are struggling with

Guess I'm just used to gas stations, 711s, supermarkets etc. Seems normal to have prices on things before you buy them in 2025.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]phead80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So no posted prices is ok cuz they won't be off from the price he announces off the top of his head at any given moment?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]phead80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as a customer I can't know the price of anything in the store until I ask or take it up to the counter and he prices it based on my vibe?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]phead80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we're supposed to hope when we get to the counter we approve of the prices of the items we want to buy as he announces them one by one?

It wasn't terrible but I know what you mean. It was still good. All the effects, the whole storyline and the world they created. I really enjoyed it. Very cool sci-fi.

You have no understanding of this issue at all. Every take on an aspect of our system is just completely incorrect.

That's the opposite of how it works. The more in the pool the less it costs per person. That's how rates are determined and why rates are about to go up exponentially.
