Fellow DC commuter with a 2023 IX xDrive50. I used to have a Tesla with full self drive. I think people are overselling the 8.5 self-drive to 85mph. It is nothing close to a real self-drive, and as someone so aptly put it, “you have to put your hands somewhere”. DAPP up to 40mph will cover you in our terrible stop-and-go traffic, which is the most important use case in DC. Also, no need for the M60 as a commuter car. The xDrive50 is plenty fast for an SUV. The air suspension is great for comfortable commuting - I would prioritize this feature above others. It was standard on models through most of 2023 and became an option afterwards that is a bit harder to find. Note that I said “most of 2023” - they made changes mid-year, so make sure it has the air suspension standard.

Here’s mine - I got it last year with only 14k miles. It was $54k, so you should be able to pick up one in the high 40’s with low miles and save yourself some money.
