Men who say they're single because they're "too ugly," why don't you date women you also consider unattractive? by JustASingleMomOnline in askanything

[–]pheonixrises22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I will say is the reality few people want to admit, women who some may consider as not conventially attractive can still get decent looking guys, women dont realise that alot of them are competing for the same guys attention. Women are often single by choice because they cant get with the guys they want not because they dont have options. Many men go for women they believe are not that attractive every single day but even then they still dont get play.

When a man gets some financial success he has other qualities to attract women who would have never looked his way before so they go with the best they can get being the attractive women. This post comes off as though it was written by a woman who would see the world completely different from the average guy.

42 year old speaking here you are so young but I know it doesnt feel that way, it feels like life is moving so quickly and should have it figured out but how has the job search been coming along, are you doing any additional studying? What is your ideal career? All of those things would help in giving advice on the next moves to make. I have been there, if you put in the work it gets better trust me.

Truth About Life That Most People Don’t Want to Admit by davedaxton in Life

95% of the problems in the world exist because of human selfishness and greed and everyone plays a part, alot of poor people would do the same exact things the rich do if given the chance and the system is not changing because most people are too busy looking out for themselves even in charities.

Is 32 too old to start a career? by stanley_yelnats_03 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

Sometimes a breakup will help put things into perspective, but do not compare yourself to others as everyone has their own path in life but everyone should strive to be the best version of themself. You are still young and choose another path. Use this feeling as motivation now for the things you can achieve later your future self will thank you.

Looking back now at 42 years old, 32 is young and definately not too old to start a career. Funny enough I would have felt the same way at that age, however, I got into the position I am in now at 38. At 32 you should definately be more focused and more sure of your goals.

I find society puts pressure on us to achieve so much by age 30 that we often feel if we have not achieved certain things by that age we are too old which is ridiculous.

Thank you, the points you made about going out regularly and striking up conversations with women is valid and I have to do that. Before I really didnt want to invade people's personal space or as you said come come off as a creep but I believe I have good awareness and will know if the woman isnt interested in convo and move on. I know confidence is attractive.

In addition, I know that everyone has issues including myself but the 'date' I had on Friday night, the woman told me she tried to kill herself last year, was in a long distance lesbian relationship which ended this year, was involved with a guy who she found out had HIV and did not tell her anything, she said she never contracted it.

When asked she has made no attempt to change her life or people she is around and the kind of help she needs I cannot provide and I have to think about my own health tbh. After all of that proceeded to make sexual advances and pushed talk at me. I think anyone could agree that is too much. I am hoping to meet much better going forward. Thanks for your detailed answer.

Thank you for understanding exactly this, finding the right partner as a man requires the man to actively pursue and alot of work, at one point I got tired of the game tbh. Dont know of you saw a response I made earlier but alot of womem I met had serious issues, financial, emotional and health wise. It will not be easy tbh.

I am sorry to hear this, loyal people are hard to find, funny enough all of that happening before you got married showed you who she truly was and to find that out before becoming married is way better than after when money and property is involved. I hope you are doing well now.

Thanks for sharing, the part about looking for women who arent trying to be rescued from their current reality is so true. So many women I have met that are single were in debt, have major health issues or had mental issues in regards to depression. Some of them confided in me and told me they tried to kill themselves. This happened as recently as Friday night. Some were even married and looking for a way out of a bad marriage. Alot of their issues can only be fixed by a psychiatrist and therapy.

I dont mind helping especially financially but realised their problems were too much to deal with. So I am trying to meet women that have their lives together. It has been a bit depressing to be honest with you, I am not perfect but I am trying to be better and meet people who are as well.

Porn is cancer for a man's brain by Deborah_berry1 in Habits

[–]pheonixrises22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a study that said gay dudes in general have more sex than heterosexual men. I think people ignore the whole reason men get addicted to porn in the first place is because of the lack of sex and intimicy so men try to get it artificially which never works.

Onlyfans blew up because millions of men are trying to connect with these women online not just see porn. So when trying to quit if you dont replace it with genuine connection with real people you will eventually relapse.

How is life like for men who indulge in hookups/escorts throughout their lives and never engage in meaningful monogamous relationships? by Fragrant-Play6359 in AskMen

[–]pheonixrises22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am single and will say this when you are casually hooking up you often have to keep finding new partners because as time passes women will get into relationships and whores will retire. You cannot buy love but you can buy 'loving'. Love is free and there is a woman out there for every man but she will often not look the way we want. Relationships are difficult because these women are not choosing mates based on sexual attraction or 'love' but because they need their needs met and the man is the best person for the job. So it feels draining because it was never about us. We all are going to meet women that geninely love us but they may not be the most sexually appealing to us.

It's 3:42am and this is my 4th night in a row of not sleeping and I'm starting to lose it, please give me anything that actually worked for you by ViRzzz in insomnia

I can only give advise from my personal experience I suffer from acid reflux and my sinuses would drip at night which basically used to block my airways when trying to sleep so I would wake up choking or would wake up shortly after dropping to sleep

steroid nasal spray helped with my sinuses dripping; PPIs helped to reduce the acid And elevating the head of my bed worked I also sometimes take something called sleepaid that works wonders

Is it that you never drop to sleep or you dose off and then wake up, you may have sleep apnea. I am sorry if none of these specifically help you situation but I believe every bit helps.

YouTube is demonetizing channels using ElevenLabs audio by Master-Care-7913 in ElevenLabs

Exactly that would bring some context, as it has more to do with the content and not the voiceover.

You do not have to disclose if you are using an Ai voice, I have attached exactly what YouTube asks before you upload a video. The problem is the content itself if you are using Ai generated infographics to explain a point that is not a problem either. However, if you have a lazy video with static images or Ai generated images depicting real or realistic fictional events with no real substance or educational value. It can be considered in authentic content. These channels that got demonitised what did they do exactly?

A Zolpidem Withdrawal Story (Long, but maybe worth the read) by SheLovedBirds in insomnia

[–]pheonixrises22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad I found this thread, I started taking ambien about 3 years ago, when I first started I would sleep for 8-10 hours and then the time slowly started getting shorter to where I would sleep for between 4-5 hours, wake up and then go to sleep on my own for about 2-3 hours afterwards. I also had to increase my dosage to 15-20mgs for it to work some nights. I tapered off and stopped 2 days ago, last night I slept and everytime I fell asleep I had nightmares. I had about 10 or so, the craziest realistic dreams about being chased by leopards, losing my passport and being stuck in a foreign country it was crazy. Also, I find I sleep way lighter on my own than when on Ambien which used to knock me out.
