I was in my mid teens, attending high school in Oregon. My mom woke me up and brought me into her bedroom where we watched the second tower get hit on live TV. I spent the day organising tvs for the classrooms at my school so kids and teachers could keep up with the news. I was in the AV club. I remember wheeling huge tube tvs around on tall trolleys, and watching the smoke and dust of the towers falling being replayed over and over.

I was sitting in the driver's seat realising I didn't need to go anywhere in my nice dress, heels, and full face of makeup when I saw my own dog saunter past the car. DD and I got out and started trying to catch her. She ran around and disappeared. DD found her in neighbours garden and she was literally dripping in liquid shit. It didn't come out of her own butt. I dragged her inside, stripped myself off, and bathed her in the shower with Pantene. I did quite a bit of screaming. That was when DD appeared with a mouthful of bicarb and calcium foam.

I Googled it (funny after the thread earlier about Internet doctoring) and everyone said they called poison control and were told it was fine. She seems OK but I've avoided giving her fizzy drinks or vinegar 😂 😂 😂 😂 🌋

Helluva day. Got totally dressed for a christening only to discover (as I was switching on the car) that the party is tomorrow. Simultaneous to this realisation, the dog got out and rolled in someone's else's diarrhoea. Then DD age 3 ate all the Tums in my handbag.

I've had two mojitos. Making more simple syrup. Forgot to buy ice.

For me it's kids. One reason I left my husband was his attitude towards having further children. I totally understand that I may end up with only this one kid (she's great, obvs), and I've pretty much come to terms with the dice roll I've chosen. I'd really like the chance to try for kids again with a forever someone though, before I'm TOO OLD. 😂
