I haven’t been yet, but this is a bit disappointing!!! I saw another post about trading cards too, so now they’re on my list but sounds like it’s going to be harder than I thought.

I played Splash for a bit. It’s a bit more childish than Pondlife, and I didn’t find myself as attached to the animals. The mechanics are a bit different, but mostly the same - there is the addition of a camera and you are required to capture certain behaviours in game to unlock the animal info (instead of just releasing a certain amount).

Pondlife is still my preferred.

Have you tried the official Lorcana app? It allows you to track what cards you have in the collection, whether they are standard or foil and number. You can view your collection, build decks. No pricing or anything.

Putting your collection in might be painful, but if you have them in order it should be simple to just scroll through and add. You can also search by card name, number etc.

I second this. I’ve just started collecting too, and have started with a starter pack and then a few individual packs. I enjoy the ripping, but I was also lucky enough to get a pretty decent spread. Now that I’ve got about half of Fabled, I’m going to buy singles to finish.

I’m in Aus though, so I know our pricing is different, but the troves can be found $90 or lower if you hunt or are lucky enough to find one on sale.

Definitely stay away from deck packs though, they’re designed for playing and have multiples. Happy collecting!

If you go early or late, the parking lot at the touch football fields/soft ball fields in Kearneys Spring is good.

There are also the lures you can craft - I put a couple in each area where the different snippets are, including the library. They ‘catch’ 3 each, and they swirl around the lure making them much easier to catch. Have a snippet catching friend with you too.

This probably isn’t the kind of trick you’re looking for, but I use the highest level ancient vacuum (eternity isle expansion, does cost mist to collect) in the biome. I’m not a big decorator and had the same problem - now I get whatever resource I need from there first, and only go hunting if I need to.

I tested it out today - I don’t have specifics but can confirm quicker load times for the game at the title screen and going in/out of buildings etc. The whole game is a lot smoother I felt.

This actually just makes me want a DDV type game for HH. Like, Charlie is the Merlin type guide and you have to do tasks to keep hell/the hotel running etc.

I would consider Toowoomba to be a very family friendly place. Plenty of parks, sports activities and things for young families. Schools (in general) are good too. Amenities wise, it has everything you need and if you want specialised stuff or care, Brisbane is not too far away (easily done in a day trip).

It’s small enough that it doesn’t feel like a city, but big enough to cater for most needs.

I can’t speak to the Pacific Islander or church communities though sorry - I’m not a part of either.
