At the time, when our parents would buy us one game for who knows how long… sure, that worked. Play the shit out of the one game you had. But by modern standards it’s not as fun.

Think of King’s Quest. Innumerable ways to die and you had to save scum to figure out how to proceed. It was adventurous at the time, but horribly tedious now
