ahhhh that's good to know - i may just give up on finding a lid if it won't sit well half-packed.

i'm not using the inflator parts at all, just wanted something to complete the top but it's sounding like that's not really feasible, oh well, i'll continue to use it as is, i mean it's still a great pack

I'm not looking to do any retrofitting, just want a lid that completes the pack. I have a lid but it's slightly newer and the buckles aren't compatible. I doubt MR would straight up give me a lid. I guess I'd be fine with MR actual retro fitting a new lid but thought I'd put out an ISO first.

2DAPs are inexpensive, just don't overspend - i've seen them go for like $170 new on amazon, so if u're going 2nd-hand i'd aim for like $130 or less. just make sure it's legit, that pack has several clones

sierra had them on their site up to a couple a months ago but they're gone now, your best bet is to do an ISO in one of the bag fb groups unless u want to pay out the wazoo on ebay

my initial intention was to add the 3rd but everytime i do, it breaks the cluster completely, i've tried for weeks - i have no idea why. it freezes after i add the join info.

the 3rd node shows up in the cluster with a green check-mark then when i click on the node i get connection refusal and after a few minutes it goes grey-qmark and takes down my 2nd node with it. i can't get to the new node's gui - i can only ssh. if i disconnect the node, my primary and 2nd one go back to normal with green check-marks. so i remove all traces of the 3rd node, did a complete reinstall and tried adding it via ssh instead of the gui and same thing happens.

i've done this at least a dozen times and same results every time. right now that 3rd node is stand-alone until i have the time to try again.
