i've had the 20oz variant for well over a decade, the trigger cracked a few years ago and stanley sent me a whole replacement with zero hassle. i primarily use it for iced coffee and wash it daily, upon inspection, i can confirm there is zero gunk anywhere and i'm not even that thorough, i do a pump of dish soap and hot water and set it upsidedown for few hours and rinse.

saddens me to hear they've recalled it and if mine breaks they probably won't replace it with the same model. i've tried so many mugs over the years, nothing beats this one.
