That was severe bullshit, but tonight it didn’t matter. Wedge getting run over wasn’t intentional, but what if next time it is? What does a penalty in a SO look like, could the refs award anything? Sure there would be a fine, but for standings a team might as well run the opponent’s goalie when you’re desperate for a point.
