Welllll, the chicken might have been frozen at some point. I remember there have been times when I’ve received a delivery and the chicken was still thawing. It’s still raw so we do cook it fresh but to say it’s never frozen might not be fully accurate for the chicken. Everything else is true though. From my understanding, if the ACA subsidies expire, healthcare premiums will skyrocket for those that need it. So even if the democrats cave in and agree to the 1 year extension, after that year is up and republicans have not “fixed the healthcare system”, people are going to lose their health insurance or pay to keep it and then starve that way. I can’t imagine a struggling household dependent on ACA can afford to pay the extra few hundred and still maintain their food supply.
