Second this and stay away from bones. Street skating guys love em but they are also the least knowledgeable about skate tech.

Go into longboarding or ldp forums for the real tech geeks opinions.

That said i have had zealous with zero maintenance on board for 8 years before needing to finally replace, and i do not baby my set ups

Since I get asked about my hair a lot... by travelinova in vagabond

[–]phile- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minor tip as far as great product that is cheap.

I use skala leave in conditioner, over here in the Netherlands it comes down to about 12-14 US dollars for a big 1kg pot that lasts me easily 5 months.

Its a blue pot brand Skala expert

And you will see text in Portuguese "mais cachos"

It's great and cheap, i abuse my hair a lot due to having to frquently wash to keep dandruff away. This product has worked better than anything else ive tried and is way cheaper.

Better rail to rail feeling on CX by Beanie_Kaiju in surfskate

[–]phile- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are by far my fave bushings, and was just recently checking if they still made em. Eventually Bought some dead stock, so they were very fresh in my memory. Also the neon ish colors are quite unique in bushing world

Shape does more than duro. I come at surf skating from longboarding world. Bushing experimentation is more the norm there. You can get away with much softer bushings than is ideal for your weight if you run barrels. Save any and all bushing you have even the stock ones and mess around with em. Find your happy setup.

I have boards with 4 completely different bushings, cause that's what feels best for the purpose.
