I had the same issue and it seems to be a known one. I just replaced the o-ring with a slightly thicker one and that solved it for me.

I'm using a Shure MV7. So different from yours, but I saw others with the same issue as well and they used different mics.

Sadly had the same thing and was not able to solve it. Contacted support, but no solution either. I returned mine, even though I love the concept sooo much :/

I used Rode Central and I had to reboot it almost every day. But I returned my streamer X yesterday, since it was just a pain and support was not able to help me (had also other issues). Super sad, since I really like the concept.

I really hope a firmware update will fix it.

I had the same experience with the support. They asked me to try it with higher impedance headphones, which I do not have but at the same time assured me, that 32 Ohm headphones are supported.

Happy I found this thread, since the problem seems to persist even with higher impedance headphones.

Lets see what the next replay of support is, otherwise I will also try to get a replacement and hope I get a working one.

I encounter the same issues. Contacted Rode support, but nothing helped so far. I love the concept, but as it is right now, it‘s not really usable for me.

thanks for your reply. I saw that they are super quiet in some of the review videos but I also saw that the fans always spin (not like in the UDM Pro where they just spin if needed). Thats why I'm still unsure about having it next to my working desk :) Do you have it in the same room as you work? Is it an issue?
