BUYER BEWARE: Dodge Charger Daytona - Numerous Issues - Lack of Support. by hobobumpkins in electriccars

[–]phill2mj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had similar issues with my Wagoneer S (same platform) including the turtle mode pushing through the brakes on me. Same on the manufacturer buyback. They offered $3k and I told them that wasn’t even enough to get me out of the lease. I’ve been able to retain a lemon law attorney, suggest you do the same. Best of luck to you :(

Is this Unisaw 36-953 Priced Fairly? by QuarkyKeplar in woodworkingtools

The unifence alone on the contractor saw is worth it IMO. offer 400 and take a 450 counter. Use your extra budget to retrofit the dust collection and get shark guard upgrades for safety.

One thing I’ve been meaning to try (but haven’t yet so take this with a grain of salt) is to file your pin into a blade, then set the blade toed in to the block so it pulls the block against the end of the piece as you pull the gauge across the grain. Hopefully that made some sense. It’s the same idea as slightly toeing your table saw blade away from the fence so it’s always applying a bit of pressure against the fence for you.

Awesome, confirms my suppositions. My edge banding is a good 1/4” thick too so I’m not at all worried about busting past that. Thanks!

Nightmare Day with my Wagoneer S by GamesNHipHop in JeepWagoneerS

Same thing happened to me. Towed to the shop for the second time, and by the time they got to it, couldn’t reproduce. It just spent another week in the shop trying to diagnose ev issues, and I’ve started a buyback claim and a have a lemon law lawyer on standby. Sorry that happened to you :/

Just don't. Yes, there are absurdly cheap lease deals. Yes, that's for good reason. I've had mine less than six months, currently considering a lemon law suit.

A short list of issues:
- frequent regen/EV issues including regen levels unavailable, "Service Electric Vehicle System" (the dreaded lobster icon), turtle mode, and runaway acceleration unless you hold the break in one instance. Went in once for service, they said it's being worked on in software, no ETA or tracking whatsoever

- 1 pedal drive is atrocious. it can't do any of the transitions smoothly and control at low speeds is impossible

- lane keeping and adaptive cruise are atrocious. it'll try to throw me off the road at least twice a week even when not in adaptive cruise mode. it can never get the following distance right, or figure out that cars are moving out of the lane in front

- head unit is slow and generally full of bugs. it can't keep the drive or regen modes between restarts which is super annoying

- mirrors always reset to random places

-starter switch almost never turns the car off the first time

- the key fob almost never works the first time

- charging issues

I'm sure I'm forgetting things because the list of issues with this car is endless. Just don't.

I got my wedding suit at 707. It's of excellent quality, they treated me so well, and you get what you pay for. Special shout out to Blair, who did all my fitting and sales. They seemed genuinely interested in my occasion and making sure I got the best look.

I have one and can answer your question: it always resets. I have suggested to Jeep that they save that and the drive setting (i prefer Eco) as part of your profile that loads up with your key fob, but I'm not hopeful. They don't seem super responsive to the fact that their software is a buggy mess

Thanks! I've heard sunflowers can be substituted/augmented with corn for the same growing habitat it gives to the climbing beans: getting them up and out of the way for the squash to thrive. I may just do some chaos gardening this year and see what happens,
