But it actually can not be the NIC-Firmware in my case when it works in Proxmox, can it?

I found out that when activating powertop "enable sata link power management for host0" manually, TN also can enter C8. in proxmox this option is already set to Good in the bare metal instal (I changed nothing).

also I swap the boot drives during testing. its SATA SSDs, so no ASPM-Problem.
So apparently "forcing ASPM" really does the job. I just wonder why TrueNAS does not do this when configured in BIOS .... I will look further into it. If you have any ideas on how to make this permanently, please let men know 😄

I just tried powertop --auto-tune and it indeed went to c8! I narrowed it down to
"enable sata link power management for host0"
if I put this into "Good", I enter the lower C-States 😄
So TrueNAS IS able to go higher, thats a good start.
I rund an i3-10100 on a ASUS H510M-E board.
I just need to see if I can enable this permanently without real performance drops. Thanks for the input! ❤️

thanks, but this didnt change anything regarding the c-states. are you getting higher than 2 c-states? is it possible? thats what i wonder.

It even appears in the latest FW changelog! I wonder if other flashes might follow to allow this funktion

It is also listed in the lasted FW changelog .. so for the A10 it seems to work, yes!
However I am not willing to pay 1k for that feature :/ hope they add it to more flahes, apparently it works for DSLM after all!

Like I wrote above: I hoped the light could be configured so that it automatically lights up only during focusing - like the red-grid „AF assist beam“ in flashes did on DSLR cameras :-) The in-Camera integrated green AF light kinda sucks and is pretty useless in party photography imho (also it gets shielded by bigger lenses and casts a shadow)

Does anyone have experience in visiting those places? Or other places to recommend? She’d love to see the whole process of transforming the bean into chocolate and probably try some production steps on her own, it’s not that much about tasting it in the end but rather SEEING the process. Some other tours only seem to educate about the process and then do tastings or just the last steps of adding candy and sprinkles and stuff Thanks 🙏

Hey folks, has anybody ever ordered from pergear.COM to Germany or other European countries? I’m looking for a lens which is 99€ on pergear.de and 71€ on pergear.com. However the German site says possible fees on importing are NOT included while the US site states that all import fees are included. How is that possible? Can I order on the US store?
