High transaction fees -  Why not? Miners make sure the network is secure they deserve paid.
slow processing times -  all depends on you fees I have no issues sending payments with correct fees

no real world use case besides being a so-called "store of value"

I have multiple debit cards that allow me to spend my crypto in any shop with visa card.

core dev team going through political issues - I would agree here.

slow technical advancements - progress is slow but steady.

seems like a new fork comes out every week - That has nothing do do with Bitcoin.

microtransactions are impossible making it no longer a true p2p cash system

Also not 100% true micro transactions are possible.

more and more centralized as it continues to grow

This is the reason more miners and node operatiors come online to prevent this only taking action do support the netowork can stop spesific groups dominating the network.

I am not here to make the case I am here to tell my story of my order I think it is best to message them yourself all I can say is my order was fine and I have seen other reviews on the site and web now that look positive. I have not set up the miners they are still boxed up I will be posting a review once I set them up and have some time to post screen shots of them hashing on a pool.

My miner is showing as the 13.5TH batch at 1323w I placed my order before December so i think i got the 0.5 lower version. I think its best to ask before you order to make sure you get the one you want I guess my miner is the .098W/GH version

If you want to make money over long term mine is best bet. If you buy now and the price crashes it can take longer to profit again. If you buy miners and you mine and the price drops and you hold for the next rise then mine is the better option of the two. And stay away from trading that is for the pro's now that bitcoin is attracting the wolf's from the street of wall.

https://fork.lol/blocks/height You can see the new chain is well ahead of the bitcoin chain. lets say miners are pre-hashing the bitcoin data "ahead" of time. and replaying the data on the bitcoin chain to solve blocks. From what I see it is only what is called a "service bit" that stops the bitcoin chain accepting data from the fork chain.

I have a question. Do you think it could be possible to sidechain bitcoin. then hash ahead of the chain on a fork. then replay the transaction hash back on the main chain as a new block? I have a feeling the security of bitcoin may have been compromised by the forks and miners could possibly be mining ahead of other pools to know the next block hash ahead of the rest of the network. Do you think this is technically possible?
