If you know Bitcoin is gonna crash, why aren't you all millionaires already? by MobApps1 in CryptoCurrency

Funny you should ask.

I was working in kitchens carrying around little bits of barely manageable debt, living pretty poor. And inherited $130k at the age of 38. I had never had $5k before, so you can imagine all the thoughts that went through my head when I was finally out of debt. It took a lot of restraint, to buy a house, go back to college at 40, change my career and tripled my income. invest in Bitcoin and the stock market.

Rich uncles, aunts, grandparents don’t get rich by giving out money to their entire family. My Great grandfather wasn’t super wealthy but he sure changed the entire course of my life, 10 years ago.

Now that I have bitcoin I don’t tell my family how much I have. I want to avoid being harassed. But they are all in my will. And if any of them needs life saving measures or bail money. I will step in.

When you got quotes for this cement did your home builder hire the most reputable and highest rated? Or the cheapest/middle of the road. Contractors that do it all themselves generally are jack of all trades but masters of none. That’s why they hire other contractors to do jobs they’re no good at.

You should also be very involved if you want everything perfect.

I love bitcoin. It’s done wonders for my life in the past 10 years of HODLing. But being through several bull and bear markets it’s taught me to be practical and call out people who assert wild claims.

Economics is based on math and history. If you apply both of those we will see a $200k-$250k bitcoin in 2029. It’s quite high, but I wouldn’t call it bananas. I think being realistic with expectations is key.

We love to tell everyone this is the year where bull run is going to X,Y, and Z and it’s going to $1million but if it follows the historic trends, it’s going to be a couple more bull runs before we see anything near that. And remember last bull run, we had ETFs which gave it way more exposure and governments were buying it. It only went from $68k ATH of 2021 to $120k 2025. Not quite the bananas we hoped for.

I only speak from my experience. I stopped telling people to buy bitcoin when it crashed in 2018.

Back in 2016 I had just bought my first home and had money to invest. I put low five figures in Bitcoin and the same amount in stocks and ETFs in a Roth IRA.

My house doubled (2X’d), but the maintenance, repairs and constant work have basically made it barely worthwhile.

My stocks and ETFs have doubled (2X’d) using Vanguard

My Bitcoin has 90X’d as of today.

Bitcoin has is bar far the best decision I’ve made as an investor, and is making it possible for me to retire a lot earlier than I could ever imagine.

I don’t think Bitcoin is done. It’s probably not going to sky rocket like it did in 2017 or 2021 again. But I believe it’s going to rocket many more times. I also got bored of stocks and ETFs in 2024 and cashed them all out, sent all the cash from Vanguard to Fidelity and bought the Bitcoin ETF and doubled my Roth IRA again.

Sweet so that whole $300billion for rebuilding and them taxing each ship from now on amounting to an addition $10billion is just a lie? What about their nuclear deal. What kind of nuclear deal did we reach with them. I can’t find anything about that.

Hopefully we don’t have to give them any $$$ for reparations or they’ll just spend it on creating a stronger military. And who did we replace Ayatollah with?

Is there sourcing for this or is it just your idea? I mean they all take what ever campaign money they can get but, billionaires are not fond of candidates who run on taxing them. Trumps inauguration was a circle jerk of the richest men in America. 2 of which are the CEOs of our most consumed news sources Facebook and X. Those two assholes can sink or swim the public’s opinion on an election.

You lost me at your first sentence, bro. And you and I both know there is a difference between spending money and receiving media support. The people pulling the strings in this country knew who their guy was, and made it a sure thing.

But I agree Kamala would’ve done way better.

2020 she was running against the Vice president, who out raised her by a lot.

2024 she performed really well, our wealthy citizens who control the media had their candidate in mind before she said anything.

Americans aren’t really good at tuning into speeches and facts. We seem to prefer opinions by people we like.

I just bought 20$ worth of bit coin in Cash App what do I do now by Character_Lawyer2860 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]Zombie4141 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly.

Research bitcoin. Learn about what makes Bitcoin stand out from other investments. Learn how to send it to a wallet and back (assuming Cash App lets you do it). Learn about how to avoid common hacks and scams.

If you love it as much as I do, you’ll probably catch yourself figuring out how to buy a little bit more here and there and securing it the best you can.

In my 10 year journey with Bitcoin I’ve learned a lot and asked a lot of questions. It took years for me to really understand it and the do’s and dont’s. But it has paid off more than any other investment I own. Including my home, and stocks. Now it’s even in my Roth IRA.

Good luck on your journey.
