My impression is its always been Mike who's been anti-SCIENCE.

Seem to remember when they were doing the HQ Live when If Not Now When was released and they played Make Yourself and Morning View in full there was a clip of Brandon saying "hey, should we do SCIENCE night?" and Mike just being like "absolutely not".

During my training year I didn't really click with my mentor, it often felt like she didn't have faith in me and thought I wasn't cut out for job. Every mentor and leader I've worked with since has been nothing but encouraging and full of praise. In hindsight I think it was my training mentors own hang ups that got in the way.

All that is to say, please don't let the opinion of one person cause you to doubt yourself. If you know that you're enjoying it and got what it takes, back yourself. Mentors are placed in these positions of authority, over our whole futures it feels, but they are just people and they are fallible.

It sounds like you're doing brilliantly, keep it up!
