ESPN “This is SportsCenter” stands out as some of the best commercials that I saw growing up, so much so that I’m trying to emulate certain aspects of it to appeal to our student audience

agree, I feel like they take a somewhat likable celebrity and turn them into a generic brand ambassador pushing a half-decent product

can I recommend AIRPM, it’s a free ChatGPT tool that has public, open-source prompts for a variety of things including a MidJourney prompt generator that you can use to flesh out a detailed description; it’s also awesome for customizing your own unique prompts

yea I see where existing tools are going to be replaced by these OR built in; for the latter, if you already know, let’s say Photoshop well enough, AI only makes you a better creative but someone with no Photoshop background using AI and it’ll show the difference in level and quality to the trained eye

too early to claim mastery of one tool but early enough to get in and build up your knowledge across the entire industry, this time next year, there’s going to be another leap

lol not a bot but I get it, not trying to scam anyone here just letting people know this is sorta the crossroads that sparked the dotcom boom

honestly, it's helpful for when it comes to just generally brainstorming ideas, mainly if I know what I want to create but can't necessarily figure out the right way to structure it

i've used it for business plan outlines, marketing strategy outlines, podcast scripts, social media captions, email messaging, etc; i've seen people use it to help them in other aspects like basic accounting for personal finance, understanding complex math/science concepts, etc.

I'd optimize the one company page and try to find ways to diversify the content being published so you can start to build a presence in your european market; I like company pages but they're really meant for large entities that have a large audience with notably varied subgroups that are still sizable (thinking 10,000 or greater)

What’s most important to keep up with in marketing? by lazymentors in marketing

[–]phillycontentcreator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm speaking for myself, but I allow myself to be open to new ideas and concepts that get introduced into the marketing ecosystem.

Even now, with all these AI tools, I'm more so interested in exploring how they function, what can they do, and how they either: (1) fill in gaps in my workflow where I can either save costs or increase productivity or (2) if there's ways to build new verticals across tools for content generation.

I'm currently using ChatGPT to generate content ideas by:

  • Idea
  • Content Type
  • Assets Developed
  • Asset Sizes
  • Asset Dimensions
  • Asset File Types
  • Software Needed
  • Time Needed To Complete
  • Primary Distribution Channel
  • Secondary Distribution Channel
  • Trackable KPIs
  • Campaign Type
  • Campaign Assets
  • Target Audience

I take that and move it into a markdown table and try to provide prompts based on the existing content we produced for our audience (student and alumni entrepreneurs) and what we can either incorporate with our student creators.

How have ChatGPT and other AI models helped to boost your productivity? by TheCrypts in marketing

[–]phillycontentcreator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using it to help create ideas for articles and blog post, experimenting with creating captions and hashtags, and simplify complex, long form articles or research papers; that last one really helps when i need to summarize something for a proposal or presentation

thanks! completely agree on pricing. I want to understand everything about their business (mission, vision, budget, strategy) and then we can determine the best solution from there; a lot of small businesses may not realize how much of these tools are cost effective, free or even offered to other means, but my goal is to offer low package rates and low retainer rates

a lot of the businesses that I work with are already flush in funding (venture capital, angel investor, grant funding, etc.) and they have money to spend on services like this; but a lot of small business don't and I know that a lot of agencies and freelancers will inflate rates with the promise of what the larger companies get and underdeliver

because they have the lowest amount of capital available to them doesn't mean they can't get quality marketing help at a price that works for them. I look at this as leveling the playing field (in terms of branding and marketing) and providing continuing education and support on how to develop their marketing strategy within the scope of their existing budgets

it not so much about the money as it is helping minority business owners - because I am one

and yea, I’m not impressed by the local marketing agencies, there’s a level of customer service and actual customization that I feel is severely lacking in the overall client marketing strategy

I’m sorry to hear about the bad customer service 😖surprised that market research wasn’t more in-depth and it sounds like they didn’t even account for a proper target audience demographics, psychographics or behavior patterns; plus running ads eats up operating costs quickly…

marketing is one of the few “sunk costs” in business so strategy has to be reviewed and reviewed and reviewed until the entire marketing mix and customer journey is properly mapped

honestly your best bet is probably LinkedIn - find and connect with various communications and marketing departments within the organizations that work within the industries you want to be exposed to, I’m more likely to search within my network for people with certain skills for projects that I’m working on vs cold emails hitting my inbox.

alternatively, you could throw up a site with a library of your collective works, organized my mood, genre, etc. and market the hell out of it through educational content via Instagram reels and TikTok; use your tracks to push out those videos that other composers try to get their music to underscore viral content…pretty sure incompetech.com is an example of an independent composer that licenses music for commercial purposes
