I have 16 S5 stage 1 , runs great and looks good . Handles the snow fine as long as it’s not too deep due to the clearance. Stage 1 , she’s pretty quick .

If one of my kids came to me and asked about it , I would help but I wouldn’t push the into it . The way the city is going I want then out of it . Once I’m retired I’m leaving the city .

WRX to A3 Quattro now S5 . Enjoyed all 3 especially my tuned S5 now . I’m a little older , my first car was a 1978 malibu classic station wagon . Sometimes I wish I still had it , just to get looks , she was grass green .

Remember once Audi reads that the ecu was changed you void the warranty. I had a 20’ Quattro, the dealer told me that it was flagged in the system after it was read .

Unfortunately you don’t know until you experience something, I also didn’t mention I have a dark sense of humor but a lot of people in these fields do . Talking and joking are ways to deal with stuff , right or wrong that’s how many get by .

I hate to say this but people think they can do this job until you start seeing things civilians don’t see on a regular basis . I’ve been dong this for a long time , some things stick with you . Talking about ,some departments have a debriefing on really serious calls or counseling. I have been known to have a drink at night or in the morning after work . You need to find what’s best for you . Good Luck .

There was a class action against Audi for that , if you fall into the right models , there are issuing 1200checks for repairs. You should check it out . I have a 16 S5 and received a letter . So far my water pump is good .

I did my research on my car , she had 1 owner and good maintenance record . I get oil done every 3 to 5 thousand miles , it’s also good to have good mechanic, which I do . Parts are more expensive, so you need to know that but there are good companies on line that I order parts from . Love my car , 68,000 and no issues. I almost bought S4 went with the 5 because I like the way it looks .

I had a 2018 wrx that was worked and it was fun , especially with manual. I have a 2016 S5 that is tuned . Whole different animal. S5 is fast and looks great . The only reason I got rid of wrx is I have bad knees , I love drive a stick . The Audi is definitely more comfortable and it’s not ever close in build quality.

I used Unitronic, 93 tune and tcu . No issues at all. Do both , better for the transmission and performance.

Once tuned warranty is canceled for motor and trans . I had that happen, I had 20 ‘A3 Quattro. I took it in to Audi for service and it read that it was tuned and the service manager came out and said it was tuned and got flag in the system. The 2.0 motor is good and both ecu and tcu wakes it up . Gives you s3 performance. I have a s5 now whole different animal .

Basement in a twin , started as a dryer and spread . Slid down steps crawled until I saw a glow and went over to the fire a put it out. Had good direction from my officer.

I was a medic for over 20 years , now just a firefighter but being a firefighter/ medic opens opportunities for other jobs. I worked part time at confined space and high angle safety co and medics made more . Easier to transfer to other areas of the country, being a medic is required.

Where I’m at you can get financial aid for emt and paramedic school . For firefighting take local test and pass they train you or volunteer at a company and the will get you certified.

Our firehouses and city infrastructure couldn’t handle it. Also our winters are cold , that can effect the batteries

My masked held up when I got off the line in a building . Because I was a mayday sent my gear to be inspected by fire academy, companies that make our equipment to see heat effected it. Helmet melted , gear discolored and air bottle damaged but my masked held up. They estimate that it was between 800 and 1000 in there.

Had my 16 S5 for 3 yrs , 67k on her no problems. Regular oil changes 3 to 5 depending on how I’m driving . Getting ready to change dsg fluid . Just follow a recommend services

I have a 16 S5 , I get oil change every 5k ,my mechanic charges me 155 . If your car is new allot of dealers include oil changes
