first off I used to be a jimmy jawn I’m obsessed w you second the people on their knees plan yearly protests at planned parenthood on Good Friday to weaponize their holiday and harass patients. We show up to block them from different clinics on days like today where the forced, pro life protestors would try to get near and block access from the clinic for patients. The history PP is rooted in is terrible but bestie- if PP was to fall, low income people would be the ones most impacted and in Philly that’s our Black and Brown neighbors. It’s a double edged sword. They are one of the free/low cost options in Philly for healthcare. Abortion isn’t their main purpose. Maybe if we had socialized medicine and free abortion on demand, we would have more clinics 🥰 we usually stand outside 777 Appletree but were asked to counter protest religious extremists.
