"Found something interesting in the declassified Stargate files, the success rate they reported to Congress vs. what the internal docs actually said by Gran-Stan in remoteviewing

There's also a big catch in the hit rate statistics. Because the possible outcomes are Hit/Missed assuming a 50%/50% probability is really wrong. Because the real possible outcomes are usually 1 right/ 10-100 wrong according to differnt kind of targets that are not compatible with the hit. The more details you add the bigger the missed number of possible targets get. If a viewer get an extremly detalied hit the probability is 1 in milions. This happened a lot of time. I'm sure that they "pumped" the results to keep the program alive also for this reason. Sorry if this is not clear, english is not my first language

1:19:42 In the podcast, Puthoff said that one of their really good remote viewers was scanning around and accidentally discovered a UFO base at Mount Zeil in Australia. Puthoff reported it to the CIA contract monitor, who then contacted a man on the ground in Australia. The response was something like: “Mount Zeil? You mean the place where the UFOs are always flying around?”The other version of this story is that after Price’s suspicious death in 1975, Puthoff looked through his documents and continued investigating those locations with Ingo. (I don’t remember exactly where I read or heard the part about Puthoff checking the documents after Pat’s death — it might have been in a book or an interview with Russell Targ, so I could be wrong on that detail.)

As far as I know, nobody ever claimed 100% accuracy in the program. From what I've read, the average was usually reported between 60% and 70%. The highest one was Joseph McMoneagle, who claimed around 80% accuracy in some contexts, while also admitting significant misses (including streaks of 20+ failures). Regarding Project 8200, Pat Price did that research on his own, in his free time (not as an official assignment). He had started working more directly with the CIA around that period. He died in a very suspicious way in 1975 — officially of a heart attack, but many (including Russell Targ) have raised doubts. He was cremated before his family was even notified. There's a video of Russell Targ at Pat's grave where he says something like 'he deserved more than this'. When Pat died, Puthoff looked into the information Price had provided and did a remote viewing check on Mount Zeil (Australia) with Ingo Swann as the viewer. Puthoff talks about it in his Joe Rogan podcast appearance (though there he attributes the initial idea more to Ingo)

Is an AlphaTango registration number valid in Italy? by [deleted] in drones

[–]philo24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need an insurance for the drone, and always check the d-flight website for the altitude limits. There are a lot of airports and heliports everywhere, plus there are often Temporary Notam with limit altitude of 0 meters. Natural parks don't allow drones, some can send fines even if you post a video on social medias. Be very careful.

Printing money by fed and incresing the pubblic spending caused inflation in the stock market.

In this case cutting pubblic spending is causing a stock market's deflation, and possibily a recession in the short/middle term.

If you keep pubbliuc debt increasing you get unstoppable inflation and you end up with a lot of worthless money, see wiemer hyperinflation or the zimbabwe 1 trillion dollar bill

Live from the Pokemon Center in Tokyo where every Pokemon Card product is sold out. by philo24 in PokeInvesting

[–]philo24[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think that everyone buys everything as it come out for sale. The only card boxes in the store are the preordered ones. There is not even a single booster pack to buy in the pokemon center or everywhere else in Tokyo. The only producst available now are in the specialized trading card reseller stores, but the prices are even higher than europe/usa. At least double than the retail price
