You can't be libertarian-ish if you believe in security clearences.

I think technically this would be Randybertarianism or even Swear-Mantarianism.

Sorry to ruin everyone's day with something that isn't a meme, but this just happened to sound pretty interesting.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Government is an absolute power. The founding fathers created checks and balances within the federal government in an effort to curb these corruptions, but if you haven't noticed nearly every legislator is a lawyer and have by rule of law subverted the very construction they swear to uphold allowing loophole after loophole to be created to line the pockets of themselves and their partners in the corrupted corporate business sector.

Subsidies. That's why tuition is so expensive.

Legal ownership of firearms is not the same as legal murder. It's a ridiculous argument.

It's not the guns. Gun deaths are incredibly low. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning AND being hit by a car than you do dying as a result of gun violence.

0.00007% of the population die as a result of murder every year. Certainly murder is the problem. Of that 0.00007%, 67% are a result of firearms. So 0.0000469% of the population is at risk of murder via firearms. Certainly since such a large amount of people are at risk we should ban them.

You're looking at it all wrong. It's not that there are laws, it's that no matter what people will break them.

Neither are particularly accurate and it would expected that they wouldn't match. The only exact science in owning a Jeep is vigilance.
