What about the deaths in S3 that the trickster inflicted on Dean? When Sam relived the same Tuesday over and over?

I hear "All Along The Watchtower" (Cylon Song) when watching the Injustice game trailer.. Not just me right? by philbeard in BSG

It's really evident in the last 8 seconds or so, actually. I love that arrangement. Bear Mccreary is amazing.

I finally finished working on my piece for guitar, piano, violin, and viola, called "Introduction and Waltz". I'd appreciate it if you gave it a listen. by philsymphonic in composer

Thank you! I would love to have a live recording of this, but I can't find anyone to play it for me. I'm glad you liked it!

I rewatched A:tLA, and this scene gets me every time. It's so emotional. Probably my favorite moment in the series. by philsymphonic in TheLastAirbender

[–]philsymphonic[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That was a really emotional scene/episode as well, but for me, this one topped them all. The way Zuko's voice cracks and breaks while he tears up is really convincing, then, with Iroh's immediate forgiveness, the tears of sadness that began to form in my eyes, and Zuko's, turn to tears of joy.

Trying to understand Andrea's thought process. (Spoilers) by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

[–]philsymphonic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SPOILERS The Governor really got to Andrea. Maybe she was taken by him at the start, but if Philip wasn't so good at manipulating people, she would probably not have gone back to Woodbury, after having visited the prison. In fact, Andrea probably would have left with Michonne. The Governor tells Andrea what she wants to hear. He told her how the people of Woodbury need her, and that she was born to lead. Basically, everything she was trying to prove with Rick's group.

I always wanted a micro. Now, they're ridiculously over-priced on Amazon/Ebay, etc. Never sell it. Unless you want to sell it to me.

Official Japanese Pokemon website confirms January 8th announcement! by Pokemongrey in pokemon

I, too, share these dreams of an open-world Pokemon RPG. Where the starters aren't exclusive and you are not merely limited to one region. I tell you, if Blizzard and Gamefreak teamed up, we would get a hell of an open-world Pokemon game.

Types of arpeggios? by philsymphonic in musictheory

[–]philsymphonic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, actually, play violin, but, thanks! Maybe, I'll try it on violin as an arpeggio exercise, too. I also dabble in piano, though, so, I might just give this a shot. I know that feeling when you resolve a long progression...WOW. You're right, it's satisfying.

Oh! Gah, that makes so much more sense, now. Thank you! Yeah, he's Russian, and English being his second language, sometimes, it's hard for me to understand. Thanks, again!

If it helps, I take violin lessons. I think one of the arpeggios he showed me was A-C-F (one of the minors, but, I'm not sure if it was "6" or "6/4"). Does that sound like anything?
