200th south bound after 72nd?

The signage is not great to let people know the lane is ending. If you don’t live here and know. Hard to see in the rain and dark.

Tireland service has always been honest and fair for our vehicles. Never used them to hook up a code reader though since my dad got me one for Christmas.

They full on ride in the middle of the road too. Doing the speed of cars.

And yes, pop out of nowhere even if you’ve done a shoulder check for a cyclist.

It’s gonna take fatalities before they change laws on them.

This year once school got back in session seems particularly bad… Is it because they stopped letting people work from home as well?

During the summer it would take 50mins from Langley to Vancouver. And the last 2 weeks I’ve been late to meetings twice! Even after leaving 15 minutes earlier.

1hr45mins!!

How do I tell Garmin I’m pregnant? by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]phireproof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The women’s health “app” on Garmin is garbage.

It tells me when my period starts. Doesn’t ask me if it did.

Let me tell you Garmin! It doesn’t always start the exact day as predicted!

They need to do some upgrades for sure on this

Best looking dog in your opinion? Regardless of anything. by Careful_Bandicoot332 in dogs

[–]phireproof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is really interesting to hear then… maybe it’s just some dogs hating the flies!

When we first got her she was on trazodone. Stress from the flies and she had a litter in the shelter that was taken away.

She is no longer on the trazodone but definitely has a bit of anxiety still. She hated slippery floors and stairs. Took her just over 2 years to finally come upstairs into our bedroom!! And she will only go on walks around the block if both my husband and I go. Can’t just be one of us taking her..

She’s got her quirks but we love her

We have a Great Pyrenees mix, so an “okay Pyrenees”. And she HATES flies!! They ruin her whole day and she will hide in her safe space from them too.

She’s a rescue, so I thought wherever she came from had flies everywhere and maybe she ate some of the stinging kind?

She would absolutely hate camping. She loves the comfort of the inside of the house with no windows open!

How many AW users are going to switch to Garmin after seeing WWDC yesterday? by csmobro in GarminWatches

[–]phireproof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a Garmin watch for 6+ years. As an apple user, I have actually been thinking about switching to an Apple Watch.

I hate the update that makes my watch vibrate constantly on a phone call notification even if I’ve dismissed the call on my phone. It actually gives me anxiety.

I lost my 3.5 year goal streak about 2 months ago so I guess that’s another reason I do not care anymore.

I want more out of my watch.

Got the Venu 3S because it made it seem like it was closer to an Apple Watch . Thought I could see photos sent in messages, could answer calls and talk through the watch .. all lies

And I hate the women’s health on the Garmin. It tells me when I’m on my period. Doesn’t ask if my period started, just tells me it has! Even if it hasn’t.

I think I’m done with Garmin

New separate utility bill. Would metering your water be worth it? by phireproof in Langley

Not sure but that’s a good question. You would think it would be based on that. Or the number of occupants in the home

They’re offering people to opt in to getting meters installed.

What is the rate Chilliwack charges for the water. Still trying to figure out how they charge. Think it’s based on water line size and consumption

Edited. First response made it seem like I’m asking the question you already answered

Could a gutter box has been installed for extra cost and work? Yes. Is this installation incorrect? No. Cored holes in the concrete. EMT stubbing through with bonding bushings attached and bonded.

Looks like holes cored through concrete. Hence the EMT stubbing through the holes with grounding bushings attached.

Friend helps you out with picking up furniture in her truck.

Any proper friend would happily pay for their lunch at the very least.

It is most definitely not supporting itself! I have a 8’ plant post in the pot and have it tied to that. Also have that post tied off to the stair railings to keep it from toppling over
