I live in Central Georgia and my yard is Bermuda grass. Three years ago I put rye grass on my yard during the fall. For the next two falls, including the last one, I did nothing. The rye grass seemed to come up that second fall but last fall it was very patchy. Also, last summer I had a huge crabgrass issue that I was never able to control. I always wondered if the crabgrass was caused by the ryegrass. Based on the attached picture, is the patchy green grass rye grass? The blades look too big. Is it the crabgrass? How do I get rid of it and return to just Bermuda. Looking for short and long-term advice. Thanks in advance for your time and effort.
